Intensive Meditation Retreat

A spiritual retreat rooted in non-duality — satsang, meditation in movement, perception work, and mantra — held by Shakti Caterina Maggi, a non-dual teacher.

This is a teaching that has quietly touched the hearts of thousands of seekers around the world — rooted in Advaita and non-dual Tantra, yet woven into the fabric of ordinary life: the meals you share, the conversations you have, the silence between them.

Through clear, direct tools, you learn to live from a place of presence and inner peace — turning ordinary life into the very ground of awakening to what is already true within you.

You can participate in the entire retreat or just a few days.

If this is your first time with Shakti, we’ll have a brief introductory call before you confirm your participation.

Why join this meditation retreat in Italy
    • You have seen that the answers you find in the mind are always the same — and you sense that what you are looking for is not more knowledge, but a direct experience of what you are.
    • You know how to meditate when everything is quiet. But you want to learn to remain present where life truly challenges you: in relationships, in the body, in the emotions that carry you away.
    • You have been following Shakti for a while — at the weekly gatherings, the online satsangs, the tours — and you feel that listening is no longer enough: it is time to inhabit this space, day after day.
    • Or you are approaching this for the first time, and you want to understand whether this is your place. The short introductory call exists exactly for this.
What you will experience at this non-duality retreat
    • A mind that grows quieter — free from the weight of the stories it tells, available to listen.
    • A new way of inhabiting the body and your own humanity: the living space where consciousness experiences itself.
    • The possibility of seeing old stories, identifications and fears — and discovering that what sees them, within you, is already free.
    • The support of the sangha: a space where you can finally be what you are, simply.

This residential retreat in Umbria, Italy, offers a space of direct experience: the presence within you that is aware of every moment — of thoughts, emotions, the world — and that remains free from everything it witnesses. Through meditation, satsang, perception practices and movement, through moments of silence and sharing, you can recognize the movements of the mind, the fears and identifications that veil the natural openness of the heart.

What you are seeking is already here — it is what you are. It is only a matter of resting in this, long enough for the heart to teach.

    Schedule

The retreat’s rhythm supports a deep immersion, alternating teaching, practice, silence, and integration. Each day offers around six hours of theoretical and experiential teaching with Shakti, along with time for questions and moments of sharing within the sangha.

    Where to Stay

We’ll be at Castello di Titignano, a small medieval castle — enchanted and timeless, immersed in the Umbrian countryside.

For those who prefer an alternative, Fattoria Ca’ Mafalda is about a 15-minute drive away.

Prices at both properties vary depending on room type, length of stay, and availability. Available options will be shared with you when you book your place at the retreat.

External guests are welcome to stay at accommodations of their own choosing and reserve meals at the castle in advance.

    Frequently Asked Questions

This is a teaching of Advaita non-duality and non-dual Tantra, transmitted through satsang — direct encounter with a guide who speaks from the space of self-recognition. It is not therapy, and it is not personal development: it is an inquiry into what you truly are, beyond every role and narrative. If you’re already familiar with Vedanta, Kashmir Shaivism, or similar teachings, you’ll recognize the language; if this is your first time, the introductory call will help orient you.

The retreat is bilingual: Shakti teaches sometimes in Italian, sometimes in English. When needed, a translator provides consecutive interpretation between the two languages, depending on the language of the teaching or the question.
